Tom Morris (BIO) is running as a Write-In Candidate for Mayor of Bowling Green. Tom is a local business owner, an environmentalist, a proven leader who cares for all people in our city, and a Democrat. After watching current mayor’s lack of response to Bowling Green’s needs, Tom knew that it was time to step up and bring leadership to Bowling Green. Tom Morris will fight for diversity and inclusion, advocate for environmental action, and move Bowling Green forward as a flourishing community for all of us. Tom will listen to the people of our city and work to solve problems that affect our everyday lives. Some of Tom’s plans include voting to pass a Fairness ordinance to ensure that the LGBTQ+ community of Bowling Green is valued, advocating for racial justice by pushing for equity in law enforcement, bringing about environmental change by finding a way for Bowling Green to recycle again, finding innovative solutions in order to provide affordable housing, working to improve conditions for small businesses, and bringing efficiency, integrity, and leadership to the mayor’s office in order to help Bowling Green reach it’s untapped potential.
